Zoë Saldana is a rising talent who in the past year has had two diverse feature film releases. She starred opposite Bernie Mac and Ashton Kutcher in the number one film and number 1 DVD comedy rental in 2005 "Guess Who?". Her first foreign film premiered in November 2005 "La Maldicion del padre Cardona", directed by Felix German.

This past July she joined Dennis Quaid and Sigourney Weaver in the political suspense thriller "Vantage Point". "Haven", the much awaited film directed by Frank E. Flowers will be released September 15th, 2006, a film in which she stars opposite Orlando Bloom. Zoë recently completed several films which will be released in early 2007. "After Sex" the controversial film with Jane Seymour and Mila Kunis. "The Ways of the Flesh", directed by Dennis Cooper and co-starring Wood Harris. "Premium" a new independent romantic comedy which she stars. "The Skeptic" a psychological thriller co-starring with Tim Daly and Tom Arnold, and "Blackout" a film based on the 2003 power outage that crippled New York City. Other upcom-ing releases include the independent production, Temptation. She also stars in a rock/pop musical version of "Faust" directed by Mark Tarlov; and Constellation, directed by Jordan Walker Pearlman.

Zoë’s first foray into producing will be Jamaica Kincaid’s "Lucy". Zoë will also star in the title role. "Lucy" will also co-star Saffron Burrow and Just Theroux. Her next project will be co-producing "Devils’ Pawn".

Recent film credits include Dreamworks’ feature film, The Terminal, directed by Steven Spielberg and starring opposite Tom Hanks, Catherine Zeta Jones, and Stanley Tucci, as well as Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean starring Johnny Depp and directed by Gore Verbinski.

Zoë made her motion picture debut as the memorable Eva in the Columbia Tri-star feature film, Cen-ter Stage, directed by Nicholas Hytner. Her following role was in Miramax’s Get Over It opposite Kirsten Dunst and Ben Foster. Zoë was then seen opposite Britney Spears in the Paramount Pictures’ coming-of-age film Crossroads and the independent film "Snipes" starring opposite recording artist Nelly featured at 2001 Toronto Film Festival. Zoë then appeared opposite Orlando Jones and Nick Cannon in the Twentieth Century Fox feature "Drumline". The independent film "Dirty Deeds" with Milo Ventimiglia and Charles Durning. Her television credits include appearances on the WB’s, "Keeping It Real," and NBC’s, "Law & Order" and "Law & Order SVU"

A trained dancer who moved with her family from the New York City borough of Queens to the Dominican Republic at age ten, caramel-complected, dark-haired beauty Zoë Saldana attended a preeminent arts school Ritmos Espacio de Danza Academy in her adopted nation before returning to the United States as a teen. The charismatic natural joined performance troupes in NYC including FACES Theater Co., a group presenting improvisational and educational skits for teens and New York Youth Theater, where her role in the chorus of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" caught the attention of her manager.
