What is the Heroes of Hope Club? |

The Heroes of Hope Club is a special group of people who make a monthly pledge to help the International Kids Fund’s mission of helping those in need. The monthly pledge starts (and ends) at the convenience of the donor. So, people are not “locked in” to giving beyond when they choose. Joining the Heroes of Hope Club is one of the best ways you can help provide life saving and life changing medical care for these special children. |

What are the advantages to me? |

It’s convenient. It allows you to help the International Kids Fund with a modest monthly gift. This way you spread your gifts out over the year -- accomplishing much more. It’s simply an easier way for you to give, because the giving is done automatically. This means no need to search for stamps or envelopes, or write checks. The gift amount that you choose is automatically transferred each month to the International Kids Fund, so it can go to work faster. |

How does my pledge help the International Kids Fund’s work? |

Simply put, it helps us do much more. It’s also convenient for us -- it reduces our administrative costs and allows us to put more of your generous gifts to work helping to provide life-saving medical care. |

How much do people give? |
| |
The amount that people give varies widely -- from $10 to $1,000 a month. Most gifts tend to be in the $15 to $25 range, but we only ask donors to give what they are comfortable with giving. Just $1 a day is $30 a month -- a generous gift of $360 per year. |

How is my gift transferred? |
| |
You can choose to give by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or your credit card.
Electronic Funds Transfer is an easy form of banking that people use to pay for everything from their magazine subscriptions to insurance to health club memberships. Your monthly gift is transferred instantly from your bank account into the International Kids Fund’s bank account. And it is by far the best way to make a donation. You can start this form of giving by simply sending the International Kids Fund a sample check marked VOID and indicating the amount you would like transferred on the 1st of each month.
Your other option is credit card. The International Kids Fund accepts both Visa and MasterCard. This form of giving works the same as EFT. You choose the amount you would like to donate each month, and that’s all there is to it.
If you choose to give by either EFT or credit card, your monthly gift will appear on your bank or credit card statement. This will both remind you of your generosity and serve as a record of your gifts.

Is it easy to cancel my monthly pledge? |

Absolutely. You can change or cancel your monthly pledge at any time, for any reason, with absolutely no penalty.
That’s our commitment to you. The International Kids Fund guarantees that you will be happy with how we spend your money, and if you’re not, then we are willing to refund it. If you choose, when you cancel your pledge, we will refund all your gifts for the current year.

When do I receive my tax-deductible receipt? |

Rather than send you a receipt for each individual gift, we offer you the convenience of receiving one annual tax receipt in January or February for the previous year. This allows you to deduct the maximum tax credit possible based on your income level. |

Are there any special benefits to me? |
| |
The most obvious benefit is the one that is ultimately most important. And that is that you continue your generous support to help those in need. You provide health care for children in crisis.
And in addition to that, we will offer you a small token of our appreciation -- a CD with the International Kids Fund’s “Thank You” song. A beautiful song that was written to thank you for becoming a special partner with the International Kids Fund. |
